Shahrukh Khan Wasting a Lot of Money for a Birthday

Shahrukh Khan is a very rich man and he is just celebrating the birthday of his wife in Rome of Italy. Well, I have mix feeling about it. On the one hand, he is a rich man and he has every right to spend his in every way he likes. And other rich men in India do almost more less the same thing. However, on the other hand, I think that it is the waste of money and Shahrukh Khan comes from a country where there are 60 million malnourish children. India holds record in some of the worst things in the world. Especially when it comes to the matter of children, India has perhaps the highest number of street children. India also has perhaps the highest number of children working or it is called child labor.
Even for adult people, India has perhaps the largest number of poor people and largest number of unemployed people. So, it seems to me that the celebration of birthday of Gauri Khan in Rome is a very bad thing. It is like a satire to the poor people of India who even can not think of getting three meals a day. I know that this entry will offend Shahrukh’s fan a lot. They idolize him and there is  nothing wrong in it but if you are a fan of Shahrukh Khan then you should just remember one thing that he is your hero. He should act like a real hero in real life too not only in the cinema screen.

  1. The whole thing is... it's his money, he earned it. He can do whatever he wants with it. If you feel these kids deserve different *YOU* should be going out there and making a lot of money to help change their lives. Change begins with *YOU*, not telling other people what they should do. I focus my efforts to those areas I feel need most help and don't tell anyone else what they *should* be doing. Eating at McDonald's is a waste of money, buying a nice car, buying a nice house... don't *need* any of those things.

  2. i feel that the author of this blogpost should first examine what percentage of his/her money they are spending on charity.
Don't they go out for a nice meal on the birthday of a child or loved one?

What it costs me for a nice meal in a restaurant in comparison to what I make is about what it cost Shahrukh Khan to go to Italy, in comparison to what he makes every year.

People, please stop judging others and stop trying to tell rich people where to spend their money.

For the record, I am not a Shahrukh Khan fan but I do believe in being fair.

  3. Shah Rukh's fans know (tho he likes to keep it quiet) that he does an ENORMOUS amount of charity. Surely he is allowed to celebrate his cherished wife's birthday however he likes...doing it in Italy was probably cheaper than having a huge party at home.

  4. Did read about Shahrukh Khan's involvement in NDTV's Greenathon project? He has adopted six villages as a part of the initiative. Whats wrong if he decides to take a break with his family?

Your heart bleeds for the poor? Then get off your ass and do something about it. Dont whine that others are doing anything!
