Shonali Nagrani: The sensuous cricket host is back on ESPN-Star Sports T20 World Cup

Famous host, Shonali Nagrani is back on popular demand. The former beauty queen will host a show called T20 World Cup on ESPN-Star Sports. It was Mandira Bedi who popularized the idea of a female host in a cricket talk show. Along with Shonali Nagrani there will be Cyrus Broacha and Wasim Akram. Akram will provide technical knowledge while Cyrus is famous for his sense of humor and Shonali Nagrani will add up the glamour quotient. Her wardrobe for the show has been designed by Mandir Wirk and Satya Paul. This is not the first time Nagrani hosted any show of cricket. She hosted show on MAX during Champions Trophy in 2006 and World Cup in 2007 and IPL first season. This year, the T20 World Cup is taking place in West Indies and it will start from April 30, 2010.

Shonali Nagranli is a beauty queen. She won Miss India International in 2003. She was one of the Top 5 Femina Miss India and went on to become the first runner-up of Miss International 2003 which took place in Tokyo, Japan. After winning the beauty pageant she appeared in different television programs. She hosted Great Indian Laughter Challenge on Star One; Filmy Cocktail on Filmy channel; Mr. and Ms. TV on Sony; Ponds Beauty “Salaam-E-Ishq” on Sony TV; BSNL Present DUMDAA HITS on Sony TV; and Popcorn on Zoom TV. She also worked as a co-host of Extra Innings T20 in MAX for the DLF Indian Premier League T20 Tournament and hosted Cricket World Cup matches in South Africa. She also worked in movies including Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Pyaar Ka Funda, and Dil Bole Haddipa.
