Housefull, which released last week, is the biggest competitor of Badmaash Company. Housefull stars Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Lara Dutta, Jiah Khan, Arjun Rampal and Ritesh Deshmukh. It is an impressive cast and poses a big challenge for debutant director Parmeet Shethi. Shahid Kapoor is very happy about the movie. He said that Badmaash Company has interesting characters, fresh dialogues, original con jobs that had never before show on the Indian silver screen. The movie is also funny and humorous. He also said that Badmaash Company is more believable than 2005 con movie, Bunty Aur Bubli. Shahid founds these types of movies to be very exciting as there are not too much movies made in Bollywood. According to him, Bunty Aur Bubli is more of a fun movie than a con movie and the con jobs that have been shown in Badmaash Company are more believable than those of Bunty aur Babli. He also claimed that the con jobs that had been shown in this movie had not been shown in any English or Hindi movie. He did not get such a role in the first three years of his career and he is very lucky to such a role.
