Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam is a Tamil western action movie. Western movie themes are quite popular among Tamil people. Simbu Devan is quite well known for making western movies.

Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam (IKMS) is a western style comedy movie. The theme of the movie is based on the fight between good and evil. Director Simbu Devan is quite famous for his western style movies. Once again he has come up with a Western thrillers. Previously, he made Arai En 3-05il Kadavul and Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi. From his early age, director Simbu Devan has been fascinated by cowboys and western movies. He also used to read a lot of novels and comics based on Western themes . Art director Muthuraj worked hard to create an western atmosphere in the movie.

The movie stars Lawrence Raghavendra in the male lead. Lakshmi Rai, Padmapriya and Sandhya acted in the movie. Veteran actors like Manorama and Nasser played major roles in the movie. Lawrence Raghavendra started his career as a choreographer like Arshad Warsi in Bollywood. He is famous for his hip-hop dance moves. He also directed Tamil movies like Style, Don and Mass. In Kollywood, he has acted in Muni, Pandi and Parthale Paravasam. He suits very well in the role of cowboy. Here are two video clips from the movie:
