Deniz Yilmaz Linked with Blackpool Move for a £7.5m Deal

Newly promoted English Premier League club Blackpool has revealed their interest in Bayern Munich forward Deniz Yilmaz. However, the German club is also interested to offload him as he could not yet flourish his potential.

The 22-year-old German-born Turkish player has already represented Turkey at U-21 level and is expected to play for Turkey senior team in the near future.

Blackpool has made a £7.5 million bid for the player who is yet to play for Bayern Munich senior team. However, he has represented Bayern Munich II in 88 league matches and scored 27 goals.

It is a no surprise that Blackpool is trying to strengthen its squad ahead of the next season. They have just promoted to the Premier League from the Football League Championship after defeating Cardiff City 3-2 in the final play-off. In the league, they finished sixth, and thus, clinching a place in the play-offs.

Blackpool’s fairy tale run last season surprised many and it is expected that they would be able to sustain in the Premier League due to their stable financial situation.

The inclusion of Deniz Yilmaz would definitely strengthen their forward line up. Yilmaz himself is also interested to move to Premier League. At Blackpool, he would most probably get enough first team football and some good performance could earn him offers from big clubs in the near future. So, it seems to be a win-win situation for both sides.
