Aishwarya Rai finished shooting for Endhiran with Rajinikanth

So far, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had a bad start in 2010. Her movie, Raavan and Ravanan with her hubby Abhishek Bachchan tanked at the box office. There are still three movies slated to release this year. Already, the actress finished shooting Endhiran where she is paired up with Rajinikanth for the first time.

Her other two major releases in this year are- Action Replayy and Gujarish.

On the last day of shooting, Aishwarya Rai touch Rajinikanth’s feet seeking his blessing. The actress saw a father figure in Rajinikanth.

Endhiran is a Tamil science-fiction film starring Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in lead roles. The movie is directed by S Shankar who has hit movies like

Gentleman, Kadhalan, Jeans, Boys, Anniyan, and Sivaji to his credit.

With a production cost of Rs.2 billion, Endhiran, is going to be the most expensive movie in India till date replacing Blue Hindi movie, which was released during the Diwali of 2009.

Oscar winning Indian music composer, A R Rahman, composed music of Endhiran. South Indian music company, Think Music acquired the audio rights of Endhiran. News reports said that Think Music paid a whopping Rs.70 million for the audio rights. Sony Music was another music major who was interested to acquire the music rights of Endhiran

The album of Endhiran has six song out of which one has been sung by A R Rahman.

    Raavanan (and villan)was very successful. All the versions togather collected over 50 crores in the first week itself and the tv rights were sold for over 10 crores and then we have audio sales and probably dvd sales. Even if the budget was 100 crores the movies made profit as they are still making money, maybe a fraction but adding to the profit. Raavan alone also may not be a flop if you consider Raavan's budget as half the whole budget, i.e 50cr for Hindi, 50cr for Tamil including telugu dubbing, then Raavan probably made more than 50cr and so made profit.
    But people want to consider the whole budget and just the hindi collections and declare it a flop. Great.
