Lionel Messi has not disappointed Fans and He Deserves a lot of Praise

Yesterday, after Argentina lost to Germany, millions of people saw Lionel Messi becoming sad and tearful as his team suffered an early exit in the world cup. Since then, many newspapers and websites have been writing that he like other three top stars Rooney, Ronaldo and Kaka have disappointed the fans. It is not right because Messi tried for his best and he played his best too.
Yes, as for Rooney or Kaka, they could not play according to their celebrity status. Rooney’s bad performance made everyone at England unhappy. Kaka could not shine either for Brazil. Cristiano Ronaldo of Portugal was also not at his best. Most probably, these players were very tired after Premier League and La Liga. When it comes to Messi, he was undoubtedly the best player for Argentina in this world despite not scoring a single goal.
Lionel Messi was the main source of inspiration for the team. Maradona was so much impressed by his performance that he rested 7 key players in the match against Greece and made Messi captain for that match. Even as a leader, he showed his skill.
It was a bad luck for Maradona, Messi and Argentina that they faced Germany in quarterfinal. Germany is in the best form in this world cup. Earlier they demolished Australia by 4-0 and England by 4-2. If Argentina had played against Ghana, Uruguay, Paraguay or even against Spain yesterday, then things could have been different.
There is no doubt that Messi tried his best and his performance reminded everyone again that he is indeed the best player in the world at the moment. It is also his bad luck that Argentina does not have good players in the midfield.
So, the Argentina fans should come out in large number and support Messi at this moment. He deserves all the praise from the fans for his efforts.

  1. Absolutely correct. Anyone who said that Messi didnt deserve the title of the greatest player, anyone who denied his efforts and determination at this year's world cup, has never saw him play. Hold your head up Messi! You are the best!

  7. There is no dobut that Messi is the best player in the world. This is not his fault to lose in this games. He can't score that just beause of bad luck. We need to score in sometimes. Also, we all saw the less support from your team due to no solid midfielders & weakness defence. Maradonna as cocah should take most reposnibility in this failure. We all are human being, everyone makes mistake in his or her life. So, most important is how to face to failure & learn from lesson. Failure is the mother of success. Messi, I have never had any doubt about your 100% skills & your professional preformance. I am 100% sure that you can help your national to hold the trophy in next World Cup games. I am should Messi can shine any upcoming games & next world cup. Messi, we are always with you & support you. Don't give up. We are waiting to see our Messi back on the pitch to shine any games again.

  10. From Sauron Malaysia

No doubt Messi is the best and he will become legend. The problem with Argentina was so to say but coach with no tactical experience. The team defence was weak and no proper link between midfield and defence to support the attack. the formation against Germany was wrong, it should be 4-4-2. In the game we saw how empty the midfield was and poor messi had to run till midfield to secure the ball. MESSI you are always the best and we believe in you. for now just try to forget abt this world cup and slowly start to enjoy football as you always have. Time will heal you and you will become much better player than today.. We are proud to have you as the legend of our time. Keep Faith!!!

  13. Thanks everybody for supporting the best player in the world,i actually had started to have a feeling that peaple dont have the vision to analyse talent. After messi not scoring, few peaple kinda started doubting his abilities, that made me feel so hurt, although he couldn't score but 90% of argentina goals came from this mans contribution only,HE CREATED 90% OF THOSE GOALS,and if he wouldn't be there, argentina most probably would have been out in the group stage.Scoring goals although important and a measurable contribution isn't everything in football,or why would there have been defenders or midfielders, there would have been only strikers...nobody could actually connected a proper ball to messi in the whole WC,he went in deep and continued to show his brilliace but the team could not support him,he created some great through passes but none of them could be finished, come on guys talk practical,he can't run his own half to get the ball and run the whole field again to score,in simple words he needs some support, argentina needs some good midfielders and obviously a new and much better GOALKEEPER,i hope something should seriously be done about this,or unfortunately this will happen again,well....Messi we love you forever and you will be the best player ever who has touched the ball....dont be sad,it hurts us,we dont expect anything from you,we know whenever you'll touch the ball, like always....there will be MAGIC....again.Messi forever!!!!!!

  14. Messi was absolutely brilliant. If Media is comparing his club-form to World cup form, then they should also compare the Barcelona's player with Argentina's player. Messi and Barcelona players make a dangerous combination and that has what made them so dominating. And people should stop saying idiotic things like Messi doesn't prides himself as an Argentine, because watching him cry for his country, I'm absolutely sure that he loves his country and was as devastated by the loss as the rest of his countrymen were. Love you Messi. You are the best...no matter what others say.

  15. i must agree with all the comments above. we all love messi and he's undoubtedly the best. let's not stress him with the blames just because he has all the capabilities a striker should have and being the best in the world. Let him enjoy football like he always does.. to all of us, his fans, watching him dribbling, running, kicking on the field is the greatest feeling Messi has given us. His football is entertaining and skillful. Thank you Allah for this gift of talent you have given to a man named Lionel Messi.

  17. No, i don't think thats great, messi played not as good as he could have. will actually can't compare him to how others play, only how lionel should really play, like leo messi. which messi didn't do, which lets me down. there was nothing that could have distracted him, so he has no reason. at the end of the fay, i thought messi got FIFA world player for a reason, because he was good at soccer! maybe not?
