Nokia C5: The low-end phone has been launched in India

In India, low priced handsets have huge demands and when it comes to low priced handsets, Nokia is the top player. The Finnish mobile giant recently unveiled Nokia C5, a low-end handset in India. The phone is priced at Rs.7,999.

It is a bar shaped phone measuring 112mm x 46mm x 12.3 mm and weighs 89.3g and 56cc volume. The phone comes in white and warm grey. The phone has five-way-navigation key, two soft keys, call, end, clear and application keys, side volume keys, alpha numeric keypad.

Nokia C5 has a 2.2" QVGA screen with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels offering up to 16.7 million colors. The phone has two cameras. The 3.2 megapixel camera features Full Focus EDOF technology, 4X digital zoom and LED flash. It can take pictures with 1536 x 2048 pixels resolution. There is also a VGA camera at the front for video calling.

The phone has a built in 50 MB memory which can be expanded up to 16 GB via MicroSD.

The phone comes with pre-installed Nokia Messaging (email and IM), Ovi Maps 3.0,Ovi Store, Ovi Contacts, Quick Office & Adobe PDF Reader (try & buy), Facebook Friendster, Flickr, VOX, Hi5, MySpace, YouTube, Simple Video Editor, Still Image Editor, Video Center, Image Print, Music Player, FM Radio, Browser, Mobile Search Switch, Settings Wizard.
