Search Engine Optimization Outsourcing can become a Double Edged Sword

Outsourcing has been a win-win situation for both the rich countries like USA and poor countries like India. So, it is natural that outsourcing will be done in search engine optimization or SEO field. It is again a win-win situation for both the parties- the individuals or companies who are giving the work and the service providers. However, SEO outsourcing can bring good or bad result depending on several factors.
First of all, SEO outsourcing can save a lot of money, time and efforts. Blog or Website owners normally need some persons to write comments in other blogs about their blog or website, post messages in forums, submit in social bookmarking sites or social networking sites, write blog or website content, collect followers in Twitter etc.
Some of these works are very easy to do and nothing can go wrong. For example, any normal person can submit a link of your blog entry in social bookmarking sites like Digg or Reddit if you give that person the url of the entry, the title and some description.
Suppose, if you ask that person to write a good description and then he or she does it and submit it on their own. Then, the description about your blog entry may be good or may be bad. So, still this kind of outsourcing can be checked very easily and you can edit.
Problems happen when a blog or website owner goes for a service provider without doing any test first. This can happen especially in creating content or posting comments. If you are not careful then you can easily hire some people in South Asia or another part of the world who claim to be experts but are in no better than spammers.
Of course, it is not the service providers who should be blamed for this kind of mishaps. Some people in rich countries think that living expense in countries like India or China is too low and they allocate very small amount of money for a project. Naturally, they land themselves into finding spammers with the low budget they offer.

  1. I agree. That is why everyone should be careful when choosing an SEO firm. Get to know their company profile in full as well as their track record. You don't want to waste time and money and not get results.
