Happy Birthday Priyanka Chopra: The actress turns 28 today

Today is a big day for Bollywood actress, Priyanka Chopra, the lady just turned 28, today and she is now in Thailand celebrating her holiday with six of her close friends all female.

Priyanka Chopra went to the beautiful island of Phuket to celebrate her birthday. She Tweeted, “Twitter: "Off for my sinful holiday with my girls! Oh sooooo needed it... See you guys in paradise.”

Priyanka Chopra is having a great time. With hit movies like Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Bluffmaster, Krrish, Aitraaz, Don - The Chase Begins Again, and Salaam-E-Ishq, she is one of the most successful actresses in Bollywood at present.

Priyanka Chopra said, “I have been so lucky that I have got the opportunity to work in such memorable films. Each one of them has been special to me and the offers that are coming my way are great.

I’m thankful that the industry sees me as a versatile actor because all the films that I’m being offered are so good that I’m spoilt for choice,”

Priyanka Chopra has a hectic schedule ahead of her. She will work in six movies back-to-back, Anjaana Anjaani, Saat Khoon Maaf, Don 2, Race 2, The Italian Job and others.

To make the situation worse, the actress is now struggling to shape up for she would be doing some serious stunts in the reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi.

Bollywood Actress Priyanka Chopra Suffers from IPL Fiasco

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is not directly related with IPL. However, she was supposed to make her debut in television as the hostess of the TV show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’. Because of the on going IPL fiasco, it was not possible to get any major cricketer and the future of this show has become doubtful.  

In March 2010, it was announced that this actress will take on 13 IPL players on the show and it would be a special edition of the reality show. At that time, Priyanka Chopra was very excited and in a statement stated, "It feels fantastic to be associated with one of the biggest shows on Indian television today. It fits perfectly with my personality. I have been a huge fan of the show and thoroughly enjoy watching it.

I am looking forward to begin an all new innings in TV with this show which pumps up the adrenaline levels. It's exciting to be a part of the concept which is unique and is associated with some of the biggest names in cricket."

The special edition would be made for Colors channel and now what has happened is that the producer of the program is finding it almost impossible to get even one IPL player.

IPL and BCCI officials are under a lot of pressure now over the allegations of corruptions and financial mismanagements. The dismal performance of Indian cricket team in T20 World Cup 2010 has even created more negative impact on IPL in the minds of many cricket fans. 

Bollywood 2010: Katrina Kaif will face serious competition from Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra

According to news report, Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra signed some movies with top Bollywood production houses and this made Katrina Kaif very much insecure.

Katrina Kaif mainly plays glamorous roles in her cinemas. Now, the actress is looking forward to do different types of roles. In 2010, Katrina Kaif will be seen playing the role of a politician in Rajneeti, an issue based movie. The movie will also see top Bollywood actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgan. In addition, Katrina Kaif will working in another action movie in 2010. The movie will be directed by Abbas-Mustan and it is inspired from the hit Hollywood movie, Italian Job. Katrina Kaif is very much interested to work with Madhur Bhadarkar. The three times National award winning director is famous for making female centric and the actresses who worked in his movies also won numerous accolades. Let’s see who takes up the top spot in Bollywood in 2010.
