Salman Khan: Deepika Padukone IN Katrina Kaif OUT

It looks like Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are not going to be together anymore. The Bad Boy of Bollywood in his upcoming movie will be paired up with Deepika Padukone.

Salman Khan did not attend Katrina Kaif’s Birthday party on July 16, 2010. Katrina Kaif turned 26 this year and she is now one of the top actresses of Bollywood. Her political thriller, Raajneeti, is the only block buster in the first six months of 2010.

According to renowned astrologer, Bhavik Sangghvi, the marriage between Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan would not going to be a happy one and would end soon.

Bhavik Sangghvi also said that Katrina Kaif would do better this year but will have some health problems due to work pressure.

On the other hand, Salman Khan decided to work with Deepika Padukone in his upcoming movie. The movie, a remake of South Indian movie, Bodyguard, will be directed by Atul Agnihotri, brother-in-law of Salman Khan.

Initially, Atul Agnihotri wanted Katrina Kaif but Salman Khan was not convinced and mentioned Deepika Padukone. A reliable source said, “Salman is keen on working with Deepika. He feels they will look good on screen. When Atul suggested Katrina's name, he shot it down saying the project needed a fresh pairing. He's watched the original and thought Deepika would fit the role perfectly.”

Salman Khan is currently working Ready, another remake of South Indian movie in Sri Lanka. The movie stars Asin Thottumkal in female lead.

Salman Khan Should learn about love and Marriage from Imran Khan and Avantika Malik

It has become a joke for the media to portray Salman Khan all the time as Bollywood’s most eligible bachelor. He is after all going to be 45 years old this December. At this age, a normal man has a teenage son or daughter. It is time that Salman learns about love and marriage from Imran Khan.

In the recent days, Salman has been busy promoting Imran Khan’s movie I Hate Luv Storys. It is clear that he likes Imran and he is supporting this young actor. Imran Khan was born in 1983 (27 years old) and he is the nephew of Aamir.

Imran in January of this year got engaged to Avantika Malik. Avantika Malik has remained his girl friend for quite a long time and they are happy now to be engaged and are waiting for their marriage. He did a smart thing in getting settled in life. He is not waiting another 20 years like Salman.

Salman Khan lives in Presidential Suite while Asin Thottumkal gets black listed

While Salman Khan is living the luxurious life of a President in Sri Lanka, his co-star, Asin Thottumkal, is facing the possibility of being banned in the South Indian movie industry.

Salman Khan is now in Sri Lanka shooting his upcoming movie, Ready, remake of a successful Telugu movie by the same title. The actor has been moved to a more expensive suite at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel in Colombo . Earlier, Salman Khan was staying in a normal suite.

The presidential suite has a private garden, a gym, and a kitchen. A workstation containing a PC, connected to Internet, has been set up so that the actor can contact with his fans. In addition, Salman Khan has his personal assistant and people to fulfill his various needs.

On the contrary, the South Indian Film Artistes Association (SIFAA) has been offended by Asin’s decision to work in Salman Khan’s movie. Radha Ravi, Secretary, Nadigar Sangam, said that he is discussing this matter with several organizations to take actions against her and SIFAA will black list the actress.

Earlier, SIFAA issued a statement warning actors and actresses against attending the IIFA Awards 2010 that took place in Colombo for the Sri Lankan soldiers committed atrocities against the Tamil community of the country. Since Hrithik Roshan participated at the event, his Kites Hindi movie had been pulled down from Chennai. Other stars who attended IIFA Awards show had been banned including Salman Khan.

Salman Khan: Time to Find a Wife

Salman Khan is now 44 and half years old and on this December, he is going to be 45. He is old enough to be called as an uncle. He is still not married and he just wasted his time for many worthless actresses and models. Now, it is time to get settled in life and get married to a nice girl.

It is not clear why Salman could not get married yet and settle down in life. His first super hit film was Maine Pyar Kiya and in that movie, he acted in the role of Prem. Prem tried to overcome every obstacle to get married to Shuman (Bhagyashree). That movie was the most successful Bollywood film in 1989.

21 years have passed since the success of Maine Pyar Kiya and Salman just failed in his relationships with girls. The main reason perhaps is that he never tried to find a normal girl from an ordinary background. Most of the time, he was in love with actresses and models.

Aishwarya Rai was one of the girl friends and the relationship did not work out. Now, Salman is said to be in love with Katrina Kaif. Katrina has more or less played the hide and seek game with the media and has hardly admitted openly about being in love with him or marrying him anytime soon. Now, there are some reports that Salman is in the process of falling in love with Zarine Khan who is a new actress in Bollywood.

If really he falls in love with Zarine Khan then this relationship would also perhaps end in failure. He should try to find a girl out of the glamour world who would not try to milk him for her success and ambition. 

Salman Khan: Time to Focus on Acting

There is no doubt that Salman Khan has huge fan following. He is surely a talented actor and was behind some of the best Hindi movies of the last 22 years. However, for the last 2-3 years, it seems that he is busy with everything excepting his acting.

These days, if you type his name in Google News then perhaps you will see many reports about his relationship with Katrina Kaif and one or two reports on Zarine Khan. Last month, he got into bitter quarrel with some of the leaders of Tamil Nadu about his promoting IIFA 2010 in Sri Lanka. Now, he is busy promoting Imran Khan’s I Hate Luv Storys or even supporting Mahesh Manjrekar. There is a report that Salman is now giving a lot of time in editing a movie.

In the last 3 years, not even 3 movies of Salman Khan became hit in the box office and earned decent amount of money. He is now 44 years old and he has passed his prime years. So, he should work hard and become serious about acting or else say good bye to acting.

It is perhaps tragic for his real fans to note that despite having more or equal talent like the other two Khans (Shahrukh and Aamir), Salman never could perform consistently in making movies big hit. Maine Pyar Kiya (1989), Saajan (1991), Hum Aapke Hain Kaun (1994), Karan Arjun (1995), Biwi No.1 (1999) are some of the biggest hits of all time in Bollywood. These movies surely reflect that Salman Khan is no way less talented or skilled than Shahrukh or Aamir. However, it is the personal lifestyle of Salman that destroyed his career almost.

It is time that Salman Khan gets married with a normal girl and settles down in life and focus on acting. He still has a lot of talent in him. His fans should stop supporting him blindly but give him the message to settle down in life.

Can Zarine Khan use Salman Khan successfully like Katrina Kaif?

It looks like Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan’s relationship has come to an end. There is a new girl in Salman Khan’s life and she is none other than Zarine Khan, Salman Khan’s co-star in Veer.

Salman Khan and Zarine Khan were spotted recently in a party thrown by Aamir Khan.

The party was thrown in owner of Gustava Sanataolalla, an Oscar winning music composer, who is composing the music of Aamir Khan’s wife, Krian Rao’s directorial debut Dhobi Ghat. Aamir Khan will play the male lead in the movie.

The party took place on June 19, 2010. Salman Khan and Zarine Khan walked at 12:28 a.m. A reliable source said, “Heads turned when Zarine and Salman walked in together. And soon enough, there were hushed whispers doing the rounds at the party. Zarine was lugging on to Salman's sleeve throughout the party. Though he spent most of his time talking to Aamir, he didn’t mind her presence at all.”

When Salman Khan and Aamir Khan posed for a photoshoot, she quietly moved aside.

Well, this is not the first time, Salman Khan had such relationship. Only few years ago, another Zarine Khan look alike (you know who) had similar relationship with Salman Khan.

Zarine Khan is now all praise about Salman Khan. She addresses Salman Khan as her mentor. It was Salman Khan who first gave her big break in his movie, Veer. Since then, Salman Khan has been promoting Zarine Khan to many movie makers.

Salman Khan is going to shoot his next movie in Sri Lanka

Despite the disapproval of the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce (SIFCC), Salman Khan attended the IIFA Awards 2010 ceremony at Colombo, in Sri Lanka and the actor is now going a step further as he has decided to shoot his upcoming movie in Sri Lanka.

Salman Khan is currently the ambassador of Habitat for Humanity in Sri Lanka. The actor is now looking forward to talk with the Sri Lankan government to get permission to shoot the movie. He said, “I’m definitely going to do a film in Sri Lanka. Any effort that only reflects that the country is back to normalcy should be probed. I will talk to the President (Sri Lankan prez Mahinda Rajapakse) about this entire initiative and I hope to shoot as early as possible. I will do a full-on Bollywood film. It’s one of the best cultural exports of India and it could bring the two nations more closer,”

India Times reported that the movie titled Ready will be a regular Bollywood masala movie. In the movie, fans of Salman Khan will see him pairing up with Asin for the second time. Ready is actually a remake of Telugu hit movie by the same name. The movie will be directed by Anees Bazmee.

Originally, the shooting of the movie was supposed to take place in Mauritius but after visiting Sri Lanka for IIFA Awards, Salman Khan changed his mind.

Salman Khan further said that he felt very excited how the people of Sri Lanka like their movies and this experience made him more humble. Bollywood cinemas are very much popular in Sri Lanka and Bollywood celebrities are also equally popular.

Salman Khan wants to watch Imran Khan’s I Hate Luv Storys

Imran Khan’s next flick, I Hate Luv Storys, is going to hit the theatres in July and guess who would like to see the movie, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.

In his Twitter Salman Khan wrote, “Want to see I Hate Luv Storys. Imraan, Shona dude. Seeing promos and loving it. All the best, dude. Think this is a big one, am happy for you, Shona.”

Salman Khan affectionately addresses Imran Khan as “Shona.”

After getting the message, Imran Khan was “truly overwhelmed” and thanked Salman Khan a million times. He said, “Thank you so much! Aap ka support hai toh I don’t think we need anything else. Bhai bole hit hai, to hit hona hi hai boss! (If brother says it’s a hit, then it has to be a hit).”

After Jaane Tu……Ya Jaane Na, the next two movies of Imran Khan did not do so well at the box office. Hence, I Hate Luv Storys is an important movie for Imran Khan’s career. I Hate Luv Storys is a romantic comedy which brings together Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor for the first time.

Salman Khan and Bipasha Basu become friends once again

After a five year long cold war, Bollywood actress, Bipasha Basu, finally mended her relationship with Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan.

During the IIFA 2010 Awards show in Colombo, Salman Khan threw some parties in his hotel room for his Bollywood friends. Bipasha Basu also attended the party. According to reliable sources, initially, Salman Khan gave her a cold shoulder but then Bipasha Basu broke the ice. She walked up to him and thanked him for the good time. Then Salman Khan loosened up. The next day, when Bipasha Basu came to party, Salman Khan gave her a cordial welcome.

The cold war between Bipasha Basu and Salman rooted in a showdown between Salman Khan and John Abraham that took place few years ago. Still, John Abraham and Salman Khan are not on talking terms with each other.

While shooting Boney Kapoor’s No Entry, Salman Khan created lots of problem for Bipasha Basu and she complained to Boney. It was Boney’s son Arjun, who solved the problems and continued with the schedule.

Regarding the matter, Bipasha Basu said that it is not a “patch up.” She admitted that there had been issues between her and Salman Khan. She met her at the awards ceremony and Salman Khan did a fabulous job at all the events. He had been very warm when she met her.

Salman Khan discovered walking is the way to remain fit

In Bollywood, Salman Khan is known for his dedication to fitness. The actor recently discovered a new way to stay fit and that is walking. The actor was busy shooting for his upcoming movie, Dabangg in Wai Panchgani.

The crew was staying at a hotel which was 17-18 kilometers away from the shooting spot. The gym facility at the hotel was not so good. So, Salman decided that instead of going by car he would walk four or five kilometers up the hill. In this way, he got his daily dose of exercise.

However, Salman Khan did not walk alone. At least ten people would walk with him. Some of them were forced to walk and some of them walked out of choice. Even some crew from the movie walked with him.

A reliable source said, “Salman would not walk alone. His entire entourage of around ten people joined him for these long walks, some out of choice and some out of compulsion. In addition to his staff, several unit hands also volunteered to walk with the star. Everyone who is a gym goer thought it was a very good idea to get some exercise by walking up and down the hill. It was crazy to trek in the dark because nothing was visible so the second day everybody carried torches or tried to make it to the top of the hill before sunset,”

After a long walk everybody would become tired and but Salman Khan looked energetic. He would reach the sets, have his breakfast, and took a shower before shooting.

Salman Khan’s brother, Arbaaz Khan, who is the producer of the movie confirmed the news and said, “Yes, Salman would sometimes drive or cycle or walk up and down from the location to the hotel. It was good fun. I couldn’t join them because I didn’t have enough time as I am the film’s producer. I would always have to stay back for some or the other reason.”

Dabaangg is directed by Abhinav Kashyap, the younger brother of Anurag Kashyap. While talking about Salman Khan’s walking session he admitted that he joined them once but he was so tired that he did not continue.

No Shah Rukh Khan in Om Shanti Om 2!

Rumors have it in the media that Shah Rukh Khan may not appear in the sequel of 2007 hit Om Shanti Om. There are speculations suggesting that director Farah Khan could rope in Salman Khan for the male lead role in Om Shanti Om 2.

Shah Rukh’s strained relationship with Salman Khan is not a secret anymore and everybody knows the two stars always avoid each other since their high-profile bust up at the birthday party of Katrina Kaif.

Farah Khan, the director of Om Shanti Om, has recently stepped up to bridge up the gap between Shah Rukh and Salman. However, it may not be that easy for Farah as the two actors still have hatred for each other.

Recently, Salman Khan said to the media, “What Shahrukh does or says is not of the least interest to me but he is one of the most insecure actors. If he could get rid of that he would actually be a nice fellow.”

Indian daily, Hindustan Times, recently reported that Salman and Farah Khan met in a television show recently. During their discussions about various things, it was revealed that Salman Khan was initially offered the lead roles of Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om, but Shah Rukh later bagged both the movies.

Both the movies worked very well in the box office and Shah Rukh was nominated for Flimfare Best Actor award for his performance in both the movies.

It was also revealed in the same TV show that Salman Khan could be Shah Rukh’s replacement in the sequels of both the movies. Though Farah and Salman were not in serious mode at that time and it could be nothing but a joke, there are reasons Farah Khan could opt for Salman for the sequels of the two movies.

The friendship of Farah and Shah Rukh is well-known in the industry, but reports in the media suggest that their friendship is not as sweet as it was once. So, Farah may have already started to think about life without Shah Rukh Khan.

However, it is still a rumor that Salman Khan would play the male lead roles in Main Hoon Na 2 and Om Shanti Om 2 as nothing has been confirmed yet.

Salman Khan Refused to Patch up with Vivek Oberoi at IIFA Awards 2010

Salman Khan has once again refused to bride up the gap with fellow actor Vivek Oberoi during the IIFA Awards 2010 which recently took place in Sri Lanka. Vivek was the host of the fashion event and was due to introduce Salman Khan on the stage. He even included the phrases like "rockstar of Bollywood" and "man with a golden heart" while introducing Salman.

However, Salman Khan strongly refused the idea of being introduced by his long-time foe. Later, Anil Kapoor took up the microphone to introduce Salman Khan.

It was not the first time Vivek tried to close the difference with Salman Khan whom he once publicly criticized in a press conference. The origin of their bitter relation is Aishwarya Rai who was at some point in the past romantically involved with both the actors.

It has been a long time Aishwarya Rai parted her relationship with both of them and is now the wife of actor Abhishek Bachchan. However, Salman and Vivek could not yet sort out the problems.

The bitterness of their relationship has been so intense that many believe Salman has influenced many directors and producers not to rope in Vivek in their movies.

After a promising performance in his Bollywood debut Company in 2002, Vivek Oberoi is yet to set himself as a leading actor in the industry.

Shahrukh Khan is the new king on Twitter

Shahrukh Khan is not only the king of Bollywood but he is also the King Of Twitter.

Recently, Shahrukh Khan’s Twitter follower crossed more than 400,000 and the first person to congratulate him on his crossing 400k mark was none other than Bollywood legend. Amitabh Bachchan.

Amitabh Bachchan wrote, "Shah Rukh congrats! You crossed 400,000... meri gaadi thoda dheeli chal rahi hai..."

Shahrukh in his Twitter wrote, “Hey thanks all 400,000 & more of you, soon we can start our own small country. Send me the name for it tomorrow...”

This was followed by many suggestions from fans and Amitabh Bachchan was also one of them. He wrote, “How about – “KINGDOM”, taking up from your own popular and deserving epithet of KING!”

Shahrukh Khan was a bit embarrassed he then wrote, “Oops how dare I, didn’t realize you would be online & reading my pretentious attempts to create a kingdom. This is embarrassing.”

Shahrukh then also came up with a name for Bachchan’s kingdom, he said, “I have a name for your World Mr. Bachchan. The United States of Great Bachchania, thanks for letting us be a part of it sir. Love & health to you.”

Though Amitabh Bachchan is not at his best shape, he is one of the most popular celebrity on Twitter of his generation. Currently, Mr. Bachchan has 1,00,240 followers. He joined Twitter only a week ago.

After Shahrukh Khan, the second most popular celebrity on Twitter is Sachin Tendulkar. He has already reached 362,650 within a few months and could surpass Shahrukh Khan pretty soon.

Salman Khan already joined Twitter and he currently has 1,53,294 followers. Though his language is not always clear but his fans are enjoying his messages.

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif another big Bollywood breakup

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are moving towards break up. Recently, the two stars were shooting at Mehboob studio for their respective movies but they did not even talk to each other.

At Mehboob studio, Salman Khan was busy shooting his upcoming movie, Dabaang, and Katrina Kaif was also doing a photo-session at the same place for Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming movie, Running With The Bulls, which stars Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol and Farhan Khan. But none of them talked with each other.

A reliable source said, "Salman and Katrina were shooting in the same premises for almost the entire day but didn't even bother to go say hello to each other. The air in Mehboob was rife with tension with people speculating what would happen when Khan and Kat stepped outside their vans and bumped into each other."

The vanity vans of the stars were surrounded by security personnel who always made sure that the stars do not see each other. They always informed each other about their movements.

When Katrina Kaif was contacted about the rumor, she denied it and said that all of them had lunch together.

Not only Katrina Kaif, few days ago, Hrithik Roshan, another protégé of Salman Khan, was also shooting at the Mehboob studio his upcoming movie, Guzaarish, but he did not came to talk with Salman Khan. Last time, when the two were shooting, Salman Khan went to Hrithik’s van and chatted with him but now everybody leaves after pack up.

Katrina Kaif had been voted Asia’s sexiest woman for two years in a row. In an online poll conducted by MSN India in April 2010, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were voted the hottest couple of the decade. Out of 38,648 readers, 36% said that Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan look better than Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai.

All these are now just history. The Bollywood is now abuzz with rumor about break up between the couple.

It was Salman Khan who helped Katrina Kaif to establish in Bollywood. Initially, he took Katrina Kaif in his own movies. He also referred her to other movie makers as well.

In 2008, Katrina Kaif, with Akshay Kumar, gave another hit movie, Welcome. In the promos of Welcome, Katrina Kaif was wearing short skirts. When Salman Khan objected to producer Firoz Nadiadwala about the matter, Nadiadwala talked with Katrina Kaif. At that time, Katrina Kaif was staying in Australia. She told Nadiadwala to move ahead with the promo.

Then in January, at Salman Khan’s Birthday party at his Panvel farmhouse, Salman Khan got drunk and when Katrina Kaif tried to stop her, he pushed her aside.

Salman Khan also became unhappy after he came to know that Katrina Kaif signed film with Rajkuma Santoshi where she would be paired with Shahid Kapoor; another actor whom Salman Khan dislikes.

Salman Khan used to tell Katrina Kaif in which movies she should work and with which actors but Katrina Kaif did not like his interference. Earlier, film makers used to approach her for her link up with Salman Khan but after she became successful, she started to take her own decisions and this is now leading towards break up between the couple.

Salman Khan’s “Guess Who” game is bringing more followers on his Twitter account

Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan, joined social networking site, Twitter, last month. Initially, it did not see much response but now it is getting flooded with comments from fellow actors and Salman Khan’s well wishers and fans.

In order to attract followers, Salman Khan came up with an ingenious idea. He started posting pictures without faces and playing the “Guess Who game” with his fans.

For the last couple of days, Salman Khan has been posting numerous pictures of his co-strars, friends and of himself. However, the faces of the people do not appear in the pictures.

The good thing is, the strategy worked and Salman Khan is now getting numerous responses. He even announced prize money of Rs.100 for making correct guesses. He wrote, “Batao kaun hain and where do I send the 100rs?”

In his latest Twitter picture, Salman Khan posed shirtless with Sohail Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Dino Morea but their faces were not shown.

About the picture, Ritesh Deshmukh said, “I am glad my face was not seen at all in the body shot. It would have been better if my body too wasn't seen.”

Salman Khan is now busy shooting his upcoming movie, Dabaang. In the movie, Salman Khan played the role of a corrupt cop. For the first time, he is playing such a negative role. Dabaang stars Shatrugan Sainha's daughter, Sonakshi Sinha.

Salman Khan stars with Katrina Kaif look-alike in Veer

After the success of Wanted and London Dreams and Main Aur Mrs. Khanna, Salman Khan is now working on Veer, a periodic movie. Scheduled to release in theatres on January 22, 2010, Veer tells the story of a brave warrior named Veer who fought against the British. Salman Khan played the central role here. The script of the movie had been written by Salman Khan. He has been working on this script since 1990 when he was acting in Baaghi: A Rebel for Love. The movie is a dream project for Salman Khan.

One interesting thing about the movie is that many people thought that the movie stars Katrina Kaif, Salman Khan’s real life girl friend in the female lead, but that is not true. It was actually another actress named Zarine Khan. Veer is her first movie and she looks a lot like Katrina Kaif. This does not mean Salman Khan did not listen to his girlfriend. In press conference Salman Khan admitted that Anil Sharma, who directed the movie was actually suggested by Katrina Kaif. Rumor also spread out that Salman Khan had some disagreements with the director on the set but Salman Khan ignored the matter.

Recently, the preview of Veer, Salman Khan’s upcoming movie was arranged at a theatre in Mumbai. Along with many other Bollywood personalities, Salman Khan’s father, Salim Khan also came to see the movie. Interestingly, Salim Khan did not say anything to Salman Khan after the movie was over and silently left the theatre. This worried Salman Khan very much. He thought that his father did not like the movie but then at 2 a.m. his father called him on the phone and said that the movie was very good and Salman Khan looked great in the movie. It was a very emotional moment for Salman Khan.

After twenty years, Salim Khan came to see Salman Khan’s movie. It was also his 74^th Birthday and Salman Khan wanted to do something special for him. Salim Khan also attended the theatrical premiere of Salman Khan’s first movie as a hero, Main Pyaar Kiya in 1989 which became one of the biggest blockbusters of that year. On that day, he silently left the theatre and after coming home. He told Salman Khan that the movie will become very successful and he would gain cult status.
